I John 4:8, 16 – “…God is Love.” This is Agape Love. Agape Love is pure, Holy, Unmotivated (independent of external stimulus}, Indifferent to value, spontaneous, refused to be controlled, creative II Corinthians 5:17, etc. We function in Community. God doesn’t want us to be trapped in ourselves. God has created us for a purpose to Glorify Him! True Agape always unmasks eros! Agape will always win! God has time on His side! God punishes and disciplines out of love.
