Jeremiah 7:11-14 – The children of Israel were in a backslidden state. They were spiritually dead.

 

I Samuel 2:12-26, Eli’s sons were in rebellion against the Lord. They were immoral. Eli did not discipline them. ! Samuel 3:11-14, God’s punishment.

 

God told them to go back to Shiloh. Shiloh means a place of rest/a place of peace. The Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant were housed in Shiloh. The Presence of the Lord dwelt there. Don’t reject the Lord. Repent and He will forgive you.
