Sis. Vivian shared on the conversation between Moses and God in reference to the rod/stick in his hand. The purpose of the stick was to let Moses know that God was with him as He was calling him to deliver his people out of captivity. She pointed out that it was not really about what was in his hand per se, because God could have used anything to accomplish His purpose. She reminded us that with disobedience comes consequences. God wants us to walk in obedience.
